in my homeland i stand and grow
kneeling brittle with all my thoughts and feelings
never thought i would wander
wander as far as eyes can see
lost from the hustle and bustle of the city
in Indonesia
i open my eyes widely and blanky
looking at millions of love and hope
the endless love i always pray for
Indonesia
a homeland
where I stand
there I respect
as high as possible.
Happy Independence Day!
